His show secured the top spot on Spotify’s global charts for the sixth consecutive year in 2025, and it also led Apple Podcasts and YouTube rankings, signaling a rare, all-encompassing dominance across platforms.

Joe Rogan’s influence continues to grow as his podcast dominates every large listening destination.
The Joe Rogan Experience was Spotify’s global number one podcast for the sixth year running. Moreover, Rogan also topped Apple’s charts and YouTube’s trending lists this year, marking a first-time, across-the-board supremacy. The ascent comes as Rogan released breakout episodes in 2025, including conversations with Elon Musk, Mel Gibson, and Bernie Sanders, contributing to the surge in popularity.
The Mel Robbins Podcast climbed steadily, placing third in both the global and U.S. rankings, trailing only The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett. This same top-three arrangement mirrored Apple’s list for the year.
Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy, which shifted from Spotify to SiriusXM in 2024, slipped from its previous second place to fourth on Spotify’s global chart.
Rounding out the global top ten are familiar favorites Theo Von, Andrew Huberman, and Ashley Flowers’ Crime Junkie. Amy Poehler’s Good Hang also made its first appearance on the U.S. top podcasts list.
Spotify’s annual release also marks the platform’s second year to share insights into audiobook performance, a feature launched in 2023 and now enhanced with the Wrapped experience offering users a personalized top-audiobook view. Globally and in the U.S., the romance-forward “romantasy” category dominated, with Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing topping both global and U.S. lists, while Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series appeared multiple times.
