Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dubey stated, "We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our citizens. Clean water has been supplied to households in Bhagirathpura, but as a safety measure, we advise boiling the water before consumption."
The situation has prompted the government to take immediate action. A standard operating procedure (SOP) is being developed to prevent similar incidents from occurring across the state.
