EPCOT's Canada Pavilion: Trading Post Refreshments Bar Closure (2026)

Attention all Disney fans and EPCOT enthusiasts! We have some breaking news that might just leave you feeling a little deflated. The beloved Trading Post Refreshments Bar in the Canada Pavilion has shut its doors for good!

As of February 27, 2026, this popular spot for Canadian-themed drinks has ceased operations. Previously, it offered a delightful selection of Canadian beers, the renowned ice wine, and a variety of wines, not to mention non-alcoholic options for all. But here's where it gets controversial: the closure seems to have taken place rather quietly, with many visitors only realizing it when they couldn't find the menu on their recent visit.

While the bar itself is no more, you can still get your hands on canned and bottled beer at the merchandise store within the pavilion. However, if you're after that sweet, icy delight of ice wine, you'll now have to make your way to Le Cellier, the Pavilion's table-service restaurant. Take a look at the menu above, which showcases the range of beverages, including champagne, beers, and non-alcoholic choices, that were once available at Trading Post Refreshments.

For those curious about the future of this space, we're in the dark too! Reopened in 2021 after its COVID closure, it's anyone's guess what might replace it. But fear not, there's still plenty to enjoy in the Canada Pavilion. From the delicious maple popcorn at the Canada Popcorn Cart to the snacks and beverages at Joffrey's, and the sit-down dining experience at Le Cellier, there's something for everyone.

And this is the part most people miss: there's more to the pavilion than just food and drink! Kids can join in on the fun at the Kidcot Fun Stop, while guests of all ages can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360, narrated by the late Catherine O'Hara, or catch a live performance on the Canada Mill Stage.

So, will this closure affect your EPCOT experience? We'd love to hear your thoughts and feelings on this development. Join the conversation on social media and let us know how you feel about this change.
