The issue stems from a leak at the intersection of Church Street and Charles Street, which may have reduced water pressure and created a pathway for contaminants to enter the system.
Residents are urged to boil tap water for one minute before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or making ice. In the meantime, bottled water is recommended as a safe alternative.
